After a successful delivery of CHALLENGETURKU 2016 the team is ready to launch registration for 2017. Event Director Heikki Jaatinen comments the race: “The basic set up of the race will follow 2016 parameters spiced up with many improvements. The courses will remain substantially the same and the safety of the athletes remains our first priority. One major change in 2017 will be introduction of rolling start for the swim segment combined with the improved exit from the water. We hope this adjustment will make the racing experience in Turku even better.”
Registrations for CHALLENGETURKU weekend will open on Tuesday the 30th of September at www.challengeturku.com . HALF DISTANCE race will take place on Sunday the 13th of August 2017 and SPRINT and JUNIORCHALLENGE day before on Saturday the 12th of August.
“In order to retain our high quality and to make sure that we are able to provide second to none experience for the athletes we have limited the amount of HALF DISTANCE slots to 700. For SPRINT 350 slots are made available,” comments Event Director Heikki Jaatinen.
HALF DISTANCE first price threshold will be EUR 140 until 30 September 2016. SPRINT first price threshold is EUR 60 until 31 December 2016.
